PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Project manager is responsible for managing Argus.net online archive data system update and training; training other CP employees on the use of the system and entering data tags/ material information to the system. As a summer relief position, this person will also assist with archive administration and client communications.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Coordinating the installation and transfer, by an outside firm, of existing archive data to Argus.net. online archive
- Coordinate and participate in Argus.net training sessions
- Ensure consistent data input into Argus.net by all users across the system
- Review existing data records and improve/update. Review and integrate existing finding aids and transfer to Argus.net
- Draft protocol for determining research levels and provide appropriate responses. Determine value in kind (research, photographic, artifacts) and record external expenditures for Grantstream records.

- Packaging, mailing, scanning, liaison with suppliers and various administrative tasks including
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office business applications (such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Client relations management
- Experience in indexing, data management or archives
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in library or museum sciences or similar industry
- Highly organized, decisive, adaptable to change and able to handle multiple priorities
- Fast computer data entry skills; must be able to type 60 words per minute
- Strong telephone skills
- Demonstrated respect, discretion and confidentiality
- Professionalism, good interpersonal skills and good communication skills
