Archives Officer

Role Overview

This opportunity is offered as a 12 month short term contract to cover maternity leave.

Records Management and Archives (RMA) is responsible for the overall custody, preservation and servicing of the official records created or received by the Bank, both at Headquarters and in the Resident Offices.

The incumbent will be responsible for assisting Records Managers in various archival projects. The successful applicant will work with all staff within the RMA team.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

Organising the digital video collection

Organising the digital photo collection

Organising the digital archival repository

Preparing archival records for public access

Organising the hard copy archival repository

Essential Skills, Experience Qualifications

· University degree or equivalent professional qualification in one or more of the following fields: Records Management, Information/Documentation, Archives
