Archon, Treasury Operations, Analyst (fluent German/English speaker)

Archon* provide and manage complex loan and real estate portfolios (commercial, office and residential) building value through the acquisition, development, management, financing and disposition of real estate investments, including mortgage loans secured by real estate. Part of the Liquidity and Collateral Operations division, Treasury Operations is the gateway for all cash movements into and out of the firm, irrespective of the underlying financial product. Our EMEA Cash Management team manages the intra-day liquidity and short term cash funding of the firm across the EMEA region, ensuring the firm meets its payment obligations and is funded efficiently and cost effectively.

The Treasury Operations Analyst will be responsible for the accurate and timely Cash and Liquidity Management for the European Archon entities.

• Liquidity and Cash Management in EUR and / or additional foreign currencies including the execution of trades in multiple currencies
• Management and support of close relationships with correspondent banks, group companies and institutional partners
• Management of nostro bank accounts and maintenance of contracts, loan agreements, terms and conditions, opening of accounts and credit control with Agent Banks
• Vendor management of  multiple agent banks 
• Reporting and cash and liquidity management for companies belonging to the Group
• Proactive escalation to Operations Management regarding any issues
• Analyse and resolve exceptions,escalate risk items to the management of Archon entities and Treasury Operations management real time and provide daily operational reporting
• Management, execution and verification of cashflows (invoices, debt reimbursement, cash pooling, etc.)
• Perform daily Treasury settlement and reconciliations of bank activity to ensure all open items are booked and resolved.
• Execution of daily portfolio settlements.

Experience required

• Minimum of 2 years applicable work experience in the banking or service industry
• Risk focused approach in order to minimise financial, reputational and regulatory risk to Archon and its clients
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure - prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines`
• Control and Accuracy orientated
• Good track record of resolving issues and implementing procedures to minimise risk
• Confident and effective communicator, both verbal and written in German and English 
• Ability to generate creative solutions to problems and challenge processes, be willing to dig into the detail to resolve issues
• Project management experience
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, Treasury systems)
• Fluency (written and spoken) in English and German

Preferred Qualifications:
• French and or Italian language skills
• Knowledge of XRT
