Job Description:
Under the IT Global Manager supervision, performs basic support for all aspects of IT infrastructure. This position will maintain the hours of 6pm to 2am PST and provide weekend support coverage on a rotational basis. Responsible for Data Management. Replication, archiving, analysis and reporting. Utilize forensically defensible replication software, maintain chain of custody, and assist processing departments as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide basic help desk support for internal customer base.
Perform basic troubleshooting of servers and enterprise software
Maintain data storage backups.
Install new software, utilities, and monitoring tools as required.
Maintain inventory lists and tagging of all assets.
Resolve user and system problems; apply patches
Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings.
Assist other team members and groups as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS:
A bachelor's or higher degree with a major in the field of information technology and/or information science may be substituted for a maximum of two years of the required experience.
An Associates degree with a major in the field of Information Technology or computer programming may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
1 to 3 years of hands-on experience with Windows 2003, 2008 server and Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010 server in a medium size environment.
