Area Leader Field Marketing Wisconsin( Job Number: O-ALFM-Wisconsin) Description NOTE: This position is located in the Greater Milwaukee, WI area. Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for development and implementation of DMA level plans, and counsel on local level marketing plans that drive performance and meet sales and EBITDA goals. Primary liaison and information source of all marketing programs for franchisees and operations and development market leadership. Responsible for multiple markets within assigned region inclusive of both active and inactive DMAs. 40% Analyze market conditions and results to develop strategies for improved business performance Utilize available analytic tools to assess overall health of market(s) on key metrics and implement appropriate action plans: Market Share Customer Metrics Profitability Underperforming Markets Competitive Intrusion Pricing Online Program Revenue Proactively educates franchisees on ways to grow the business and positively impact the top and bottom line. 40% Develop and implement local marketing programs to drive topline sales performance for franchisees and stores Provide fact-based business case to support recommended marketing programs. Communicate benefits and timing of national promotions and LSM programs. Secure buy-in and gain alignment of key stakeholders. Develop coordinate logistics of local promotions that require market-wide coordination. Communicate new marketing tools programs and changes to existing programs. Sharing best practices through regular market communication, including Quarterly Business Meeting process. Develop new, creative local sales building activities that drive quantifiable sales gains and act to drive cooperation and motivation among franchisees. 20% Lead and implement integrated co-op marketing plans that are aligned with regional and national marketing plans and strategies, where applicable Work cross-functionally to develop, recommend and implement full co-op/submarket media plans encompassing various media channels supported by integrated market strategy and business case Serve as DMA Secretary in accordance with current Co-op By-laws to lead co-op meeting, present all national and local marketing information and programs, secure approval of recommended co-op plan, and record meeting minutes Monitor approved co-op plan and market results throughout the year and recommend necessary plan changes to account for sales and market level changes, media environment changes, and marketing program changes Manage co-op budget to guarantee no year end deficits Qualifications Qualifications 6-8 years of proven experience in marketing, building sales in a multi-unit environment; preferred in QSR and/or Franchise environment Bachelor's degree in Marketing, MBA preferred Must be available for 50% - 75% travel (depending upon geographic composition of market area) Strong verbal, written and presentation skills Strong persuasive and leadership skills Excellent analytical and/or computer skills Knowledge and experience in all aspects of marketing (media, creative, planning, analysis, database) Financial and analysis knowledge Ability to work well independently and remotely from team leader and peers
