As a critical senior manager in our Field Distribution organization, the successful candidate will develop and execute strategic plans of an assigned Area, comprised of integrated sales and service Branch offices to achieve all goals and objectives, including: new business policy sales; customer retention; customer satisfaction (sales and service); acquisition and service cost. Develops strong management team to meet/exceed goals. Monitors and analyzes budgets and results, and takes timely corrective action as necessary. Collaborates cross-functionally to maximize profitable growth. The position is instrumental in establishing annual sales goals for the team as well as long range sales goals for the Area. In addition, the position is responsible for ensuring all Sales and Service professionals have comprehensive knowledge of the company's products and coverages and ensure training is provided to fill in any knowledge gaps.
Responsibilities:
· Manage designated Sales and Service Professionals' activities to ensure that new business and retention quotas are met through planning, counseling, controlling and motivating the sales force.
- Coordinate the recruitment of sales and service staff while minimizing staff turnover to maintain appropriate sales staffing levels.
- Manage the reporting of new business sales and renewals and disseminates current reporting information to Sales and Service Professionals.
- Assists Sales and Service Professionals through the sale and renewal policy to strengthen relationships with customers.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 7+ years of progressively more responsible insurance sales and management work experience.
- Highly-effective oral and written communication skills, including interviewing, training, presentation, persuasion and negotiation skills required.
- Requires in-depth knowledge of insurance products and services, marketing techniques, insurance contracts, funding and rating.
