Our client is a growth-oriented, profitable, North American midstream oil and gas company. It is a people-centered company that develops, implements and supports midstream solutions. In doing so, continuing to attract, develop and challenge the best people. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic, results oriented individual for the following position in Lloydminster.
AREA MANAGER
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day activities of the area in conjunction with future business growth. You will be required to efficiently and profitably, plan, organize, direct and control the total operations of the area. You will identify, attract and develop high quality personnel and ensure that all company and governmental safety rules and regulations are adhered to. Other duties include controlling expenses as per operating budget and ensuring company assets are profitably utilized.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with the ability to build solid relationships with our internal and external customers are critical to this position. As the successful candidate you have the ability to source new clients as well as come up with ways to enhance the service experience for their current customer base. Knowledge of the trucking and transportation industries as well as post secondary education is preferred, while strong business acumen is essential.
Other responsibilities are:
Oversee the day to day operations.
Manage all the operations in Lloydminster and Bonneyville area locations.
Development of the 3-4 direct reports.
Maintain the high level of safety and ensure the compliance.
Ensure that the location operates within the budget and make sure all assets are used appropriately.
Strong interpersonal and communications both externally and internally are a must!
