The company:
We are a multinational company with several branches around Australia. Due to strong growth, we now require the services of an experienced sales person to join our Melbourne team. We are also open to candidates that are in the trade, and looking to get off the tools.
The role:
The Victorian position will require you to be self motivated and conduct yourself with enthusiasm and integrity at all times. As well as new account development you will also manage existing key accounts. This role will see you and your team predominately working with OEMs, tool makers, aero space, general engineering and maintenance departments along with a small amount of domestic customers. We sell anything to do with milling or cutting.
Experience needed:
You will either one of the two types of candidates my client will look at. You can have 3-6 years sales experience with in the cutting tool industry, having sold to the above markets, you will be a well organised individual who is well disciplined in managing a territory and keeping on top of buying cycles. Or you may be a machinist, in the tooling industry, with a natural flair for sales, looking to get off the tools. Maintaining or working with cutting tools and understanding different applications for different tools would also be an advantage for this role. Your strong communication skills and relationship building skills will be your key to success with us.
On offer:
A lucrative OTE of $90K+ including a $65-75K base + company car + bonuses + tools is on offer along with an exceptional environment to further your career.
