Area Sales Manager

Sporting Goods Cycling Products - up to £32K base + car + bonus

THE ROLE:

We are working with our client to assist in the appointment of a field based Area Sales Manager to cover a territory covering Kent and South East. This role will involve a mixture of sales and product training to key accounts and retailers within this designated territory. Customer will be specialist outdoor sports product and accessories retailers as well as specialist sportswear shops. The products to be sold are specific to the outdoor sporting goods sector and as such it is imperative that as an individual as well as having some sales experience that you have a passion for outdoor fitness. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to carry out product training with specific retailers who will be the point of sale for your products.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Based on patch (Ideally Kent/South East UK)
• Passionate about fitness/outdoor sporting pursuits
• Two years field sales experience (or will accept someone with retail with specific product sales experience in this sector)
• Flexible attitude to work, self-motivated personality
• Strong communicator, able to train and support retail customers
• Organised and methodical approach to working a designated territory
• Enthusiastic, can-do attitude
• Able to work to specific company objectives

THE PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: from £28-£32,000 base + car + benefits + up to £12K bonus
