Job Description

This Area Sales Manager position reports directly into the Field Sales Manager. The primary focus of this role includes:

  • Managing and growing an existing customer base in the Independent channel;
  • Developing new business opportunities within the territory;
  • Developing relationships with existing business partners;
  • Achieve increased distribution of new and existing products;
  • Deliver a high level of in market execution;
  • Negotiating with key stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal applicant will come from a liquor, wine or FMCG sales background, ideally with 2-3 years experience. You will have a proven successful sales record and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills. You will be well presented, professional and have the ability to deal with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
