We are looking for a highly motivated area sales manager with drive and
confidence to sell our peripheral vascular products, to join our
Interventional Vascular Lower Limb Venous Access Team.
In this position
you will be expected to work with existing customers, to acquire new
customers, develop business opportunities and maximize profitable sales.
Furthermore you will be accountable for all aspects of managing business,
including full account responsibility, accurate sales forecasting and
monitoring and allocation of investment budgets. You will be on top of the
technical medical applied research in the vascular field, supporting
vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists and interventional
cardiologist, mainly in catheter laboratories as well as in the operating
theatre.
Your commitment will also involve attending international and regional
events and congresses, dealing with local agents, networking with
distributors, planning, developing and implementing local promotion
activities initiatives in accordance with the agreed strategies. Your
ability to apply your solid knowledge of business fundamentals and
hospital's organization, will assist you in your dealings with public and
private hospital's administrations and their purchasing departments.

Ideally the successful candidate has the following profile:
- Background in the vascular medical sales, with the ability to work
consultatively and collaboratively with medical professionals - Clinical experience, preferably working, assisting or familiarity with
surgical and catheter facilitated medical procedures - Possessing the personal characteristics of being self-motivated,
proactive and highly ethical - Proven ability to organize, prioritize and drive the business to success
- Natural team-playing qualities able to interacting with associates across
Europe on a regular basis - Strong IT skills
- Willingness to undertake regular daily travel within Italy and also
internationally to sales meetings, congresses, conferences and training
programs - Written and verbal fluency in Italian and English is required
Location: Based in a home office, you will manage a territory in the north
east area of Italy and ideally you will be located within or close to that
territory (Emilia Romagna or Veneto).
