The Company
We are Australia’s leading industrial supplies specialist. Operating for over 50 years, our established network of reliable branches are at the forefront of suppling quality products to the mining, engineering, building and construction industries. We now require an experienced branch manager to join and manage our Newcastle branch.
The Role
You will be managing a branch of 5 people and be in charge of developing new sales while running the business operationally and financially. There are a number of other branch managers in Sydney that you will be able to network with to come up to speed in the business and continually use as a resource.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for 2-3 years experience in branch management and sales. The ideal candidate will come from the building, steel, industrial or construction industry. Candidates with an understanding of the mining industry and related products will be of an advantage. If you have good business acumen and some intellectual grunt we want to hear from you. You must also have an interest in building a career as this is a long term move.
On Offer
Is a base salary ranging from $60k - $75k (negotiable on experience) + a bonus scheme, car and all tools of the trade. A flat hierarchy exists along with long term plans for you to take a step up in the company and short term plans for you to gain more responsibility.
