Arms Control Analyst (Job Number:303276) Description: The Defense and Maritime Solutions Business Unit is seeking an Arms Control Analyst for the Washington DC Navy Yard office. Job Description: The Arms Control Analyst will provide support of arms control implementation and compliance programs to include: - Provide specific expertise and proven capability to develop arms control training programs - Analyzes, reviews, and develops policy and guidance to ensure proper implementation of applicable treaties. - Conducts research and provides interpretation of legislation and national strategies affecting the arms control community - Works closely with government client to identify and develop strategies for improvement in arms control policy - Develops and/or recommends and coordinates new and/or revised procedures, directives, and guidelines - Draft and coordinate staff packages for review and approval - Create issue/point papers, reports, meeting minutes and other documents, as required - Build and present briefings - Supports special projects or studies critical to the resolution of policy issues and problems - Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications : Required Education and Experience: - Bachelors Degree or graduate level equivalent - Minimum 5 years of instructional system development experience - Minimum 5 years of Naval policy development experience - Good writing and briefing skills Desired Experience: - High degree of analytical skill and the ability to work independently, with minimal direction - TS/SCI desired SAIC Overview:
