Description

Provides professional relationship management support to an assigned group of investment managers or clients by ensuring the completion of all transaction processing, as well as has the ultimate responsibility of ensuring the daily customer service needs are met. Has thorough understanding of client problems, expectations and needs. Analyzes internal processes and systems for breakdowns and efficiencies and takes action to meet client needs and concerns and provide solutions. Incumbent must have a thorough knowledge of the securities industry, it s players, foreign exchange markets and settlement practices in both domestic and foreign markets. Bachelor s Degree with a concentration in Business or Finance or equivalent work experience. S/He must also have an understanding of regulatory requirements such as ERISA to ensure the staff adheres to those requirements. Incumbent must effectively work with all internal groups. Resolution of inquiries in a timely, accurate, professional manner is essential. The ability to follow procedures and to apply independent judgment in executing complex account transactions is critical. Acts as escalation point for team and, when needed, escalate issues to management. Monitors procedure effectiveness, reports deficiencies and recommends enhancement solutions. The incumbent is the main contact for their assigned investment managers and clients. This individual also has authority to make decisions that impact their team and investment manager/client relationships. This role is the escalation point for complex issues and maintains critical relationships with investment managers and clients. The breadth of impact this role has affects owns team, department, function business unit and entire business. The incumbent must possess excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills as well as strong analytical skills. S/He must have excellent customer service skills and has the responsibility for ensuring their team is consistently meeting the needs of their clients or investment managers. The incumbent will work directly with the client or investment manager to resolve escalated issues as well as identify and discuss process improvements such as automation and risk and control. Incumbent must display tact and diplomacy in difficult or awkward situations.

Qualifications

BA in Business or Finance or equivalent experience. Bachelor s Degree preferred. 6-8 Years. 8-10 Years preferred.
