Asbestos Bulk Analyst

Salary up to £19k depending on experience
My client, a leading Environmental Consultancy, is looking for an experienced Asbestos Analyst to be based within the Oldham area.
Reporting to the Technical Quality Managers and Business Manager, you will carry out analysis of bulk samples in accordance with HSG248 and in-house procedures.
Main Duties will involve:
" Analysis of bulk sample
" Maintaining excellent relationships with customers
" Dealing with laboratory enquiries
" Ensuring samples are filed and stored correctly
" Quality control check of Analysis Certificates prior to despatch to client
" Organise disposal of laboratory waste
" Type certificates
" Receipt of samples into the laboratory
" Prioritising sample turnaround
" Allocation of project numbers, completion of Work Request and Analysis Worksheet
" Participation in internal and external quality control and proficiency schemes
" Undertake other tasks as and when required by management
" Working as part of the laboratory team
You will have the P401 Proficiency certificate in identification of asbestos in bulk samples (PLM) with at least 1 years experience in a laboratory environment.
