Asia Financial Analyst recruitment
Business Purpose:
Reporting to the Business Support Manager, this position will provide analytical support for monthly business reviews and fiscal reporting processes including full responsibility for the delivery of specified management reports. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to financial analysis, process improvement and ad hoc projects.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial analysis including reporting on actual results and historical trends
- Analyze complex financial or processing problems and independently make appropriate recommendation for resolution
- Work with Regional Controllers on external audit exercise
- Participate in SAP billing project UAT testing and roll out in Asia countries
- Assist in driving SOX compliance across the region
- Assist in all ad hoc assignments such as system development to enhance financial analysis

Job Requirements:
You will be a Finance professional with at least six years' experience in management reporting/financial analysis within a MNC environment
- Strong commercial mindset with sound analytical, statistical modelling and problem-solving skill
- Qualified Accountant with a degree in Accounting or related disciplines
- A self-starter with a keen desire to success contribute to the business
- Strong computer skills in MS Office
- Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley compliance and experience of IFRS are preferable
- Knowledge of SAP, COGNOS and ProClarity Analytics is a plus
- Analytical mind, independent, proactive and able to work under strict deadlines
- Able to demonstrate a high degree of commercial acumen and flexibility when approaching challenges and place high priority on teamwork
- Self motivated, meticulous, with strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills
- The ability to grow with the organization and take on new challenges as they arise
- Requires excellent teamwork, communication and planning skills. Must have ability to multi-task, as well as adapt to evolving business strategy and customer needs.
- Full fluency in English is expected
