Job Description 

Real Estate Investment Team Part of a Large Fund in the Middle East, require a candidate with Asia Expertise to Invest in Real Estate Across Asia especially Japan and China. Mixed Assets buyout focus and acquisition pre and post acquisition management.

Reports to     -  Head of Real Estate

Job Experience and Qualifications

Minimum a Bachelors degree preferably in finance or real estate

Minimum 8 years no more than 15 years relevant working experience in finance and real estate sectors with reputed firms

o   Have worked in at least 2 geographical regions one of them must be in Asia: Japan and China mainly as well as Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, etc

Must have completed investment cycle, preferably also completed real estate development cycle

o At least 2 years in a supervisory role

o Strong real estate fundamentals, financial modelling, analytical and technical skills.

o Hands on from day one and the team focus and manage all aspects of the deal themselves.

Job Key Responsibilities

o Responsible for performing all activities in the pre-investment phase for any opportunity

o Responsible for deal sourcing and identifying potential investment opportunities through different channels of contacts

oResponsible for screening the deals

o Responsible for deal structuring (and where necessary with assistance of professional consultants)

o Liaisons with both internal and external parties on deal origination

o Prepare the necessary documentations for internal approval

o Performs due diligence (with the assistance of professional consultants)

o Milestone performance for the deal in consultation with Project Development and Asset Management, and to follow through the documentations capturing all the commercial agreements

o Liaison with Finance Department on structure, payment etc.

o Support the Director of Real Estate in negotiations and related activity necessary to conclude the deal

o Support the Director of Real Estate in research and formulating investment strategy

o Teamwork with Project Development and Asset Management
