Asia Head of Equities Compliance recruitment
The role will manage a small team and have responsibility for all aspect of regulatory compliance in the region.
Responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the compliance team and business are kept up to date with regulations across the region and planning for future changes in regulations.
• Ensuring new products and initiatives are fully compliant with business and regulatory policies, rules and requirements in multiple locations
• Staff management including motivation, appraisals, coaching and career development of the team
• Providing compliance services for the Equities business within budget
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following criteria:
• Extensive knowledge of Equities products and business aims including the sales process
• Understanding and knowledge of regulatory requirements across multiple Asian counties including Hong Kong, Singapore
• Experience of liaising with regulators and handling on-site inspections
• Between 10-15 years of regulatory compliance experience and significant experience within Asia
