The Asia Pacific Desk Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Corporate Commercial cross-border programs, growth agenda and be a key contributor of objectives to double market share over the next 3 years. Asia Pacific Desk (CCB Super Regional Team) is instrumental in differentiating ANZ as the bank of choice for both Australian and Asian Pacific customers with cross border requirements. Within the bank, this role will support the development of our super-regional competitive advantage.
The primary activities of the role is to generate cross border opportunities for existing and new client acquisition; enhance and build new relationships leveraging Super Regional Tools and Initiatives. A key element of this is to manage an Asia Pacific pipeline and referral tools nationally for Corporate and Commercial Bank.
Skills, Knowledge Experience:
• Ability to collaborate effectively and be able to identify key business drivers and mitigate key risks and make recommendations where appropriate
• Demonstrated financial analysis skills going beyond traditional accounting based analysis.
• Sound credit skills with the ability to present a well motivated risk assessment and business proposition. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Strong client handling and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in customer Management and broad knowledge of processes and procedures
• Knowledge of a significant range of ANZ products and services.
• Sound communication skills and strong understanding of Microsoft Office products
• Developing a network of connections both within the Bank and external to the bank
