A leading listed MNC in its sector, our client has a well established presence in Asia Pacific and an impressive track record. With a clearly defined growth strategy, an exciting opportunity now exists for a driven and commercially astute Financial Controller to make both an immediate impact and contribute long-term to the success of the business.
Based in Singapore, this key role will see you act as the 2IC to the APAC FD and support the Asia GM in achieving business goals, by providing accurate and timely financial information and commercial insight and advice. As a business partner, you will be able to assess and make recommendations relating to MA opportunities, brand strategies and new product development; in addition to ensuring the business maintains appropriate internal controls, which is an integral part of the role.
To qualify, individuals must ideally possess:
- Accounting or Finance degree with CA or CPA qualification
- 12-15 years' multinational experience
- Proven track record supporting Asian markets and local legislation
- Advanced technical accounting, controls and compliance knowledge
- Solid business partnering skills with confidence to influence at the highest level
- Strong finance leadership focus with excellent people management skills
