Asian Long/Short Equity portfolio manager- Singapore recruitment
A fund manager is required (with the possibility of a team ) to run a fund concentrating on Asian equities. As fund manager you will be responsible for building the fund. The client will look also look at acquiring smaller funds and giving them a larger platform from which to launch the new fund under the umbrella of the large asset manager. The fund manager must have an excellent track record and be motivated to run their own fund.
To apply to this role you must be
• An existing Portfolio manager focusing on Asian Equities
• Have an excellent proven track record.
• Either a fund manager from a larger organisation looking to migrate full team or a small fund looking for a larger investment.
Candidates applying outside these boundaries will not be considered.

The client is a large asset manager with a track record investing within the pan-euro long/short and long only space. After dominating this space they are looking to move into the Asian markets after a substantial increase in funds. This is in no means a small operation as the client is looking to capitalise on the Asian market, bringing the AUM to over £9 billion over the next 2 years. As an organisation built on hard work, they are looking for a focused and realistic fund managers who have a strong track record. A fantastic remuneration package is on offer.
