Asian Operations Senior Manager recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Execution of On-site and Off-site monitoring in the Asia Oceania offices, which includes conducting operations reviews, provide consultation and support for operations related issues and queries, and follow up on the actions taken by the respective offices.
- Assist the Management of Asia Oceania offices on maintaining a sound operations that complies with regulatory requirements and Head office guidelines and action plans in each unit by providing the professional support and advices.
- Conduct Educational Seminar for the Asia Oceania offices, which includes identifying the operations issues and tailor seminar/s to improve operations quality, and oversee and support the staff-training program.
- Create a knowledge sharing environment and improve the team’s competence and know-how. Incumbent is expected to enhance own’s competence by learning related knowledge and share with the team on the know-how.
- Support Head of Department by taking the initiative in developing the overall management structure, so that the structure will be most appropriate for the entire Office (AOO) rather than the departmental level.
Requirements:
- Degree holder with extensive experience in operational areas like trade finance, loans operations and operations planning for over 10 years.
- Experience in more than one operation area will be preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with all levels.
- Innovative, pro-active, and analytical.
- English linguistic abilities.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Well organized and efficient time management.
- Capability to provide prompt and reasonable solutions in a timely manner.
- Ability and willingness to make frequent business trips overseas among the Asian region. Frequency: average 2 weeks a month on a need basis.
- Well balanced management capabilities.
