We're currently looking to add a Senior Digital Design Engineer to our Sunnyvale Engineering Design team. The individual we seek will join our product development team composed of highly talented engineers responsible for designing Analog and Mixed Signal power management devices for customers in the automation, aerospace, automotive and communications business segments. As a Senior Digital Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design,verification,implementation of processing algorithms and control circuits for Microsemi products as you develop interface circuits for output and digital circuit capability required for our products. You will work closely with other team members in Analog Design, Systems, Applications and Production to determine architecture, specifications, and functions of our products. You will design, simulate and/or verify digital circuits in an ASIC environment. You will also participate in synthesis, integration with third party IPs, implement timing closures and ensure the physical design of digital circuits. The candidate we select will plan, organize, execute, and thoroughly document their work, with limited supervision.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years prior digital design experience working on ASIC RTL design, preferably related to power management or processing products.
- Prior work experience supporting RTL programming languages like Verilog/VHDL. Verilog experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years prior work experience on ASIC digital simulation, verification, DFT, synthesis and timing sign-off tools.
- Prefer prior Analog ASIC design experience.
- Knowledge of hardware/FPGA design experience and exposure and understanding of integrating third-party IP strongly preferred.
- Self starter with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work cohesively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced small team environment.
- Ability to travel (approximately 10%) including occasional international travel to interface with remote engineering teams and customers.
- Must be a permanent resident or U.S citizen.
