Alexander Black Recruitment is urgently looking for an ASP.NET Developer to join our high profile client.
Our client is new trading house with a unique product dominating the market. It offers both a trading platform and advisory services to HNW and institutional clients.
The ASP.NET Developer will join a team of hardworking professionals who develop the next generation of trading platform. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly technical firm and one which is going through rapid expansion working on large and complex ASP.NET programming issues.
The latest Web project is an automated trading exchange dealer. The environment is .NET 4.0
The ASP.NET Developer will develop and maintain system critical software. You will be responsible for all aspects of software and web development on a diverse range of projects, such as automating trading strategies, integrating third party data into systems and the development of data analysis tools. As well as
• actively participate in full-cycle ASP.NET development of a number of various in-house projects, including gathering of business requirements, design, coding, releasing and maintenance.
You will be a highly experienced ASP.Net developer with a strong technical background and at least 3 years of experience in commercial web application development. You will have a practical experience and deep understanding of development methodologies as well as solid exposure to front end development. We are not looking for GUI geniuses but a backend developer who can understand how to create a front end GUI.
Candidates MUST have:
- An BSc or MSc in computing or mathematics
- Deep understanding of OOP and .NET core concepts
- ASP.Net 2.0/3.0 (C#)
- .NET 3.5 or 4.0
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- AJAX
- JQuery
- Web concepts, including accessibility, security and performance.
- Database concepts and professional command of SQL
- SQL
- Adaptable, with an ability to quickly assimilate new languages and techniques as required.
Applicants should possess strong software engineering skills, a logical approach to problem solving and be able to prioritise work under pressure.
