ASP.NET Developer w/ SQL, VB and C##

The Information Management team create and maintain ad hoc, batch reports and web based reporting applications used by internal and external customers globally. We are also responsible for developing and maintaining the billing system for all services billed by the firm. The accuracy of all outputs is paramount, with the expectation that all code will be written to perform efficiently within the applications.

Responsibilities/accountabilities:
• Support  and Enhance GDb, Report Db (ASP.NET + SQL)
• Develop and enhance OLAP Reporting Tool.  (SSAS)
• Create One Off Management Reports.  (SSRS, Excel + SQL)
• Add to or Enhance the Batch.  (Perl, Excel, SQL)

Background:
Hands-on developer with proven experience in ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#, and SQL. Experience with SSAS, SSRS, AJAX, JavaScript, WCF advantageous.

Skills:
Essential:
• University degree
• Experience building web based applications using ASP.NET and SQL Server.
• Experience with C#
• Hands-on experience writing SQL Server Stored Procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook)
• Worked in a role that involved the creation of reports for internal management and/or external customers.
• Experience developing in another scripting/front-end language.
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable:
• Computer Science degree.
• Knowledge of Financial Services industry.
• Experience interacting with business users at all levels.

• Microsoft Analysis Services
• Multidimensional Expressions (MDX)
• Knowledge/Hands-on development experience using MVC Framework

Core working hours are 8am-5.30pm, however you will be required to provide support outside of these hours as required.
