Job Description Job Classification: Contract seeking a talented candidate for the position of contract Software Engineer. The candidate will have demonstrated proficiency utilizing C# in an enterprise development environment. A clear understanding of object oriented design including design patterns is required. In addition, the candidate must be proficient in the use of SQL and SQL Server Databases. Non technical skills should include excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position will report to the Development Manager and will be located in our Tulsa office. The primary objective of this position is to convert existing ASP applications to the ASP.NET framework utilizing the C# language. Job Responsibilities - Convert existing ASP code to ASP.NET using C# as the primary development language - Utilize .NET 4.0 framework to create charts and graphs - Conversion of existing structured HTML to XML/JSON Format - Create new reports and applications within Benefit Informatics web development framework Work Environment - Position is based in the Benefit Informatics office, located in the Tulsa, OK suburb of Jenks - Typical work hours are 8:00 to 5:00 Central time Experience, Education and Skills - Minimum of 5 years C# development experience - Ability to utilize and implement code using good object oriented design skills - Proficient in the use of .NET Web Forms - A working knowledge of the .NET Ajax Toolkit and jQuery - Understanding of N-Tier Design - Experience with Telerik controls preferred but not required - Strong understanding of XML and Serialization methods - Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Engineering or related field - Direct experience in healthcare finance or medical benefit plan administration is a plus - Must be a self starter willing to work in a fast-paced team environment Join TEKsystems ® and get your career on the fast track.
