Qualifications:
Primary Function:
Responsible for management of the supply of acceptable quality asphalt, at the most economical delivered cost, to meet the production needs of the plants within the Roofing Products Group. Identify new sources of asphalt supply and coordinate the testing, evaluation and qualification of new sources with the RPG Technology function. Maintain asphalt industry contacts and promote a solid business relationship with the asphalt supply base. Manage asphalt inventories to minimize working capital and maximize cost savings for hedge opportunities, when appropriate. Keep current on asphalt market activities and market intelligence. Share asphalt market intelligence with business unit management to aid management in making favorable business decisions. Work closely with operations regarding asphalt related capital expenditure projects.
Qualification Requirements:
15% travel required
Bachelors college degree or higher.
A minimum of 10 years experiencing within the asphalt or refining industry strongly preferred.
