The Role:
Successful organisation based in Worcestershire are looking to recruit experienced Machine Tool Fitters/ Assembly Engineers to undertake skilled work assembling CNC Machining Centres.
You must have previous experience and be fully conversant with reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings. A working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment would be beneficial.
As a Machine Tool Fitter/ Assembly Engineer you must have demonstrated skills in the following areas:
•Possess hydraulic and pneumatic experience to include schematic plan reading.
•Experience of reading and working technical engineering drawings.
•Have proven experience in the use of measuring equipment such as Vernier Callipers, Micrometers and Dial test Indicators.
•Previous experience of working to close tolerances and understanding of basic limits and fits.
•Safe operation of using overhead cranes.
•Geometrical alignment of machine tools with Siemens and/or Fanuc controls would also be advantageous
These are key roles for the organisation so you must have a flexible and adaptable approach as well as being hard working and extremely reliable with the flexibility to work shifts as and when required.
We also currently have contracts on a PAYE or Limited Company basis.
Location:
Worcestershire is commutable from Bromgrove, Redditch, Studley, Bidford Upon Avon, Stratford Upon Avon, Evesham, Worcester, Droitwich, Rubery, Rednal, Kings Norton, South Birmingham and the M42 corridor.
