We have an immediate need for an Assembly Technician II to work in our Jacksonville, FL office.
Job Description:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
• Capable of manufacturing military and civilian prototype and production electronics equipment. Equipment consist of Cables, Harnesses, Ground Support Equipment, and aircraft components.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Duties include reading and interpreting assembly drawings, schematics and wire lists to assemble the end item electronic equipment and cables.
MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• 0-2 years of experience in electronics assembly or related items.
• Usage of basic assembly tools, and simple measurement equipment.
• Some creativity is required to interpret specifications and establish limited assembly procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Sitting or standing for extended periods
• Able to lift 15 lbs
• Able to routinely use hand tools
• Able to read small print and use a microscope as needed
