Community Education Centers (CEC) is a leading provider in the field of residential and outpatient community corrections programs. Under general supervision and as part of a team, employee administers standard risk assessment and diagnostic testing instruments with the residents. Interviews residents; reviews DOC files and testing scores; prepares assessment reports.
Responsibilities:
1. Administer and score various assessment instruments that include risk assessment, substance
abuse/dependence, personnel, personality assessment, and domestic violence
2. Review DOC criminal files
3. Produce a minimum of 10 cases per week
4. Attend weekly classification meetings
5. Perform clerical duties whenever necessary
6. Attend department and facility meetings
7. Assist training new employees
8. Participate in a therapeutic environment by addressing residents on their maladaptive thinking and
behavior
9. Attend mandatory trainings and any additional trainings that may arise
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master’s Degree in mental health or criminal justice preferred.
2. Assessment experience preferred.
