Asset Administration – Software Licence Approvals

The Software Licence Approvals role within IT Asset Management involves the approval of all desktop software requests made by users within their expanding team at their prestigious offices in Milton Keynes

The Software Asset Administrator is responsible for ensuring that software deployed in the desktop environment is compliant according to the terms and conditions of the software licence agreements. The role involves auditing users in the desktop environment, analysing results and producing reports highlighting the findings. `-+` This process ensures that every user who requests software in the UK has the correct approval and software licence.

Tasks include:

Managing a Remedy Queue (90+ open tickets)
Managing shared mailbox for Licence Approvals
Making decisions on licence approvals
Obtaining necessary business approvals
Communicating with Management/Users via email/telephone
Updating ITAM tool with licence deployments
Chasing outstanding approvals and deployments
Passing tickets for software deployment
