Corporate Financial Services (CFS) is part of the Business and Private Banking (BPB) business unit of the Commonwealth Bank. The CFS team serves over 12,000 clients with complex financial needs and over $10m in revenue. The division is well placed to provide medium and large companies with access to a wide range of financial services with approximately 800 professionals in nearly 50 locations across Australia.
The Industry Banking Specialists team (IBS), which is part of CFS, provides fresh thinking and expertise in the following key critical areas of our clients' businesses:
- Working capital management with flexible and innovative Transaction Banking solutions;
- Capital expenditure management with our range of Asset Finance solutions; and
- Industry insights to help our clients navigate changing market conditions.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Asset Finance Sales Manager is a critical and key leadership role which will manage and lead the Asset Finance specialist team to increase net revenue and grow product market share through new business generation for new Corporate Banking (CFS) Regional and Agribusiness (RAB) clients and cross sell opportunities for existing CFS RAB clients in line with strategies outlined by the Head of Asset Finance.

- Have strong Asset Finance product knowledge and strong market insights.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
It is critical that you develop, maintain and manage strong working relationships with business partners, peers and staff to meet sales targets as well as understanding and meeting client needs. These will assist the development of new business opportunities and in the growth of the existing business.
It is essential that you have a degree in commerce, business or related field, experience in finance and/or banking roles in a large organisation in a leadership capacity. You will have proven sales, relationship management, stakeholder management, and Commercial/Corporate client experience, along with a high level of accountability, initiative, enthusiasm and superior knowledge of financial services/Asset Finance products. You will have a strong commercial acumen and credit understanding; great vision and leadership; have great organisation and planning skills that combine with your strong verbal, written and presentation skills. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in commerce, business or related field will be highly regarded.
