ASSET MANAGEMENT – Operations – Team Lead (Singapore Based, RELOCATION AVAILABLE) – JAPENESE SPEAKER – $$ up to 200K $$ + bonus + benefits recruitment

You will be responsible for the team supporting Traders, Sales Marketing, Portfolio Managers and Client Services Professionals with client account information. Your team will have responsibility for all aspects of control, cash management, accounting and client reporting across a wide range of asset classes and a diverse client base that included high net worth individuals, institutions, and governments As part of the role you will support Front Office teams based in Japan, hence the need for Japanese language skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising the performance of cash and stock position reconciliations, acting as a point of escalation for any issues. Supervising all aspects of client reporting, including portfolio analysis and regulatory reports.

• Liaising with global teams and cross-business lines. Acting as a main point of contact for internal and external clients and developing and sustaining these relationships.

• Interacting with Fund Managers and ensuring they are provided with ad hoc analysis and reports as requested.

• Training and knowledge sharing with more junior members of the team.

• Creatively offering ideas to contribute to the improvement of processes, reduction of risks, increased controls, and increased customer satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• This role requires extensive liaison with the Tokyo office so proficiency in Japanese is essential.

• Strong knowledge of Asset and Investment Management markets, products, client types and regulations. Previous experience within Asset Management is ideal, although candidates from Investment Banking or other relevant industries are welcome to apply.

• Knowledge of Reconciliation and Cash Management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Good interpersonal skills, experience working with a diverse range of clients.
