Asset Management Analyst recruitment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Financial modeling of existing investments, as well as pending investments for the Fund, using both Argus and Excel.
• Creating, maintaining and updating models of existing or proposed Funds.
• Calculating realized and projected IRRs and multiples as required for investor reporting both for investments and for the Fund(s).
• Assisting with analytical aspects of quarterly / annual investor reporting.
• Real estate market research, both in new and existing markets.
• Assisting with the asset management function for existing portfolio (evaluation of major capital projects, major leasing transactions on existing assets, and major asset decisions).
• Assisting in transaction due diligence efforts.
• Providing various support functions to the deal team such as preparation of presentation material or organization and coordination of large working groups.
• Interact with third party property managers in creating annual budgets and business plans.
• Special projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or other real estate related subject;
• 2-7 years experience in a real estate financial analyst role performing modeling including complex proformas - waterfalls and macros.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Data Tables, Waterfalls and Macros
• Familiarity with office and multi-family real estate;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel;
• Extensive experience with ARGUS software (candidates will be tested)
• Ability to multi-task and work in a very high pressured, fast-paced and team-oriented environment;
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development; and
• Ability to handle large volume of work; good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
