Asset Management Audit Manager
Position Description
Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) is seeking a Manager to join its Internal Audit Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing audit coverage of MSIM's Traditional and Merchant Banking business. The candidate should be familiar with the overall investment management process.
The Manager will be involved in the development, planning and performing of internal audits. Such involvement would include:
• Scope determination, development of audit planning memorandums, performance of test work and report writing;
• Execution of the audit plan within departmental methodology, procedures and standards;
• On-going communication with business line management to discuss the status of business changes as well as perform follow-up on previously identified audit issues.
Skills Required
• Experience in auditing investment management practices is required; the ideal candidate may have 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
• Good technical understanding of the financial services industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient understanding of the internal audit process.
• Degree educated (or equivalent) in business including Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc.
• A A.C.A and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) a plus.
