Asset Management – Business Analyst (IT) recruitment
THE COMPANY
- Our client is a leading independent global asset management firm, which provides its institutional, retail and high net worth client clients with access to a skilled investment professionals covering a broad range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, property and private capital.
- Based in London the company is one of Europe’s largest investment managers with over £60billion in assets under management.
- The IT department plays a crucial role in supporting the success of the business and with around 100 people, they are responsible for developing and implementing state-of-the-art software to support our fund management, trading, distribution and operational areas and for maintaining a stable and resilient IT infrastructure platform.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- The candidate will be an integral member of the project team, and is expected to play a major part in defining and supporting the implementation of their new Global Finance Ledger platform.
- The project will look to consolidate the Group Finance ledgers in each region onto a single Finance platform, therefore, an experienced business analyst who is comfortable with leading and engaging with multiple Finance stakeholders in each region is required.
- The role will support the various stages of analysis, scoping, planning, requirements definition, vendor on boarding, implementation, testing, sign-off and transition of the new solution.
- The individual is expected to come up to speed quickly in order to understand and document the detailed requirements for the key Finance processes as well as supporting the project team in developing an agreed future state operating model and target end to end solution.
YOUR PROFILE
- The successful candidate must have experience in the following areas:
- Experience of implementing a gloabl Corporate Finance Ledger slution / platform,
- Experience of implementing a global Finance Management information reporting platform,
- Exposure to General Ledgers and Subledgers operations and a good understanding of the general financial reporting and finance processes within as asset management firm.
- On top of this you must also have an understanding of the end to end project life cycle, delivery expectations, be a self-starter and have the ability to lead and conduct detailed workshops and anaysis to drive out requirements and future state models with key stakeholders.
