Asset Management Business Analyst recruitment

Summary         US Third Party Distribution (US TPD) – Advisors Sales Group (ASG) is responsible for sales via financial intermediaries including wire-house broker/dealers, independent financial advisors, RIAs, banks, and retirement advisors.  Product areas include mutual funds, separate accounts and alternative investments.  This individual will partner up with business managers from across ASG to provide analytical support regarding our distribution efforts inside key client firms, platforms, and other focus areas. 

Principal Responsibilities

• Track ongoing business in a real-time environment

• Create models and reporting used to track and analyze sales via multiple facets

• Develop insightful and actionable management reporting summarizing our competitive positioning and opportunities across and inside industry segments, key clients firms, and platforms

• Identify and implement improvements to operational aspects (e.g., sales reporting and management workflow)

• Assist senior management in developing and monitoring sales, revenue and expense budgets

• Partake in ad-hoc projects as situations arise

• Exposure to other areas of IMD (including sales, marketing and product management) and firm-wide areas (including Finance, HCM and Legal)

Experience/Skills             

• Solid Financial Acumen

• Strong Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience in Access a plus

• Overall PC aptitude, ability to learn new systems

• Ability to multi-task and work independently

• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
