Asset Management – Investment Writer
The Investment Writing Team is part of our Global Marketing Platforms Development department - a globally integrated function dedicated to the delivery of effective marketing solutions across regions. Global Marketing Platforms Development consists of four main business lines - Brand Management, Integrated Marketing Communications (of which Investment Writing is part), Marketing Services and Business Development.
Investment Writer
We are looking for an investment writer to join our established Investment Writing Team. This role represents an opportunity to join a dynamic team within the firm's Global Marketing Platforms Development department, with excellent prospects to develop a career within asset management.
Candidates for the role will ideally have a minimum of two years' experience in the financial services industry working in a marketing/communications role. Previous writing experience and a full understanding of asset management products and services are essential.
Core responsibilities
The role is wide-ranging and involves interaction with stakeholders from across the firm, including product desks, our UK and European marketing teams, our sales and product strategy teams, and our global strategists.
The successful candidate's main responsibilities will include:
• Writing and editing monthly, quarterly and annual fund commentaries
• Producing copy for marketing sales aids and brochures
• Editing copy for insight papers and blogs
• Creating copy for our websites and regular emails
• Applying the house style guide to all copy produced by the firm
• Providing editorial support to all business functions
Core requirements
The successful candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications:
• Very strong English skills
• Previous asset management and marketing experience
• An ability to deliver high quality, regular fund commentaries
• An ability to work independently and within a team structure
• A degree in a subject with a strong business and/or writing component or equivalent
• Investment Management Certificate or similar qualification
