Overall Purpose of the position - Management of the JPMorgan Asset Management (Nordic) business and office. Ensuring timely and effective co-ordination of the finance function for the branch. Responsible for the procedure process, registration process and product development process. Supporting the sales team with market analysis and contract negotiations as well as ad-hoc projects.
Main Responsibilities RolesFinance Management:Coordination of monthly bookkeeping with accountant Deloitte and Finance LuxembourgCoordination of annual audit report with Deloitte and auditor (PricewaterhouseCoopers).Certification of invoices, credit card statements, expenses.Matching bank accounts and bank statements.Complete Travel Expense reports for the Nordic TeamPerform the monthly local GLRS substantiation (local check that Income Statement prepared by Deloitte is consistent with Oracle Accounts and GLRS Transactions).Invoice management for Denmark Branch
Office Management:Responsible for vendor contract negotiations.Ensure that the OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) checks on Nordic Clients/Suppliers. Ensure checks are performed upon requests by Compliance.Coordinate annual filing of documents with Recall.Checking new suppliers (call back procedure).Responsible for maintenance of office-equipment e.g. printers, copy machine, fax machine, postage machineOrganisation and preparation of yearly meetings: Compliance, Finance, Risk Management.Coordination of HR London and accountant Deloitte in new employee onboarding
Business Management:Co-ordinate with Registration team and Funds Control team for new fund registrations and activations.Co-ordinate with Product Development team for new fund and share class launches and communicate internally of new product launches and pipeline.Ownership of Procedures Manual, ensuring it's up to date. Ensure Nordic office is in line with legal / risk / compliance guidelines / directives.Ownership of local Risk Management process and reporting in co-ordination with Risk Management team in London.Maintain the local Business Continuity Plan for Asset Management.Support Sales Managers in contract negotiations.Monitor Sales and Profit statistics in Sales MI and MIS Finance Reports.Manage and lead ad-hoc project work.Represent Nordics in the European Business Manager Working Group (BMWG).Prepare relevant material for the Sales Meetings.Manage and lead the Nordic Business Support meeting.Undertake business with a full understanding of all compliance, audit, money laundering and a good understanding of local and Luxembourg law.Liaise with Nordic Client Services team in London to ensure service standards are maintained.Preparation of material for Country Review meeting.Know our main competitors and their products and strategies. Spread this information throughout the Nordic team.
