Asset Management Risk and Investment Technology Consultant – maintenance, development and migration of existing investment controlling systems for an asset manager based in Zurich recruitment

This is an exciting opportunity working for an asset manager based in Zurich and your role will be to help them with the migration of their investment controlling systems.

As a successful candidate you will be part of the team responsible for monitoring, maintaining and improving existing software and compliance systems and working closely with the investment controlling and risk management departments. This role will involve maintenance of MIG 21 and as part of the business technology team, you will be the interface between the business and technology departments.

As the practice is expanding, after successfully maintaining the existing software, this role will move towards implementation of a new compliance system. Therefore experience with system configuration is essential.

To be successful in this role you must have fluency in German and English.

Requirements

• Excellent education

• At least 3 years’ experience in the financial services industry, ideally in asset management

• Good knowledge of financial instruments, basic knowledge in risk management

• Experience with software products required

• Interest in regulatory issues (according to UCITS investment limits, etc.)

• Long-term willingness to learn about risk management in other fields

• Database knowledge (Oracle SQL, etc.)

• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of thinking and working

• High motivation and strength, and flexibility

• Fluent in written and spoken German and English
