This role involves working in the BI and DataWarehousing team, which is part of the IM Application Development group within JPMAM Client Technology.
This involves the design, development maintenance of a variety of feeds within this space. As the team uses the Scrum Methodology this will also require working as part as a 'DevOps' Team, which involves working in Sprint cycles and providing 2nd level support.
Job Description:
The role is targeted at an experienced ETL/Data Warehousing developer with a strong technical background in Informatica, Unix and RDBMS, preferably with experience in Investment Management. Scrum certification is highly desirable, and working in a Scrum Team preferably with a desire to move into a Scrum Master role is preferable.
The successful applicant will be an effective developer who can manage workload in a pragmatic, structured and consistent manner.

The applicant will be involved in various areas including specification and development of new applications, performance tuning of existing and new applications, and contributing to improving the Informatica Development processes (e.g. code control, coding standards,code promotion, etc.).

Qualifications
The candidate will be able to deliver against aggressive timescales in a fast paced dynamic environment.
The candidate is required to possess the following skills/assets:-5-7 years Informatica development and tuning experience;3-5 years relevant Relational Database experience, especially UDB or Oracle;3 years Unix (shell and scripting) experience;Job scheduling experience;Integration experience with a 3rd party applications;excellent communications skills, both written and oralThis position is based in Glasgow, although some travel to London may be required.
