Asset Management Specialist Job in Columbus 43215, Ohio US
Perform loan surveillance activities in order to reveal higher risk loans and monitor performance to protect the company from default. The primary concentration of surveillance will be financial statements analysis and rent rolls. This position will also assist in monitoring compliance with loan terms and government agency loan program guidelines; evaluate physical condition of properties; and work with clients to address financial/operational issues to avoid or cure defaults.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform loan surveillance activities for affordable housing, skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, and hospitals in the Lancaster Pollard Mortgage Company portfolio.
· Monitoring will include in depth financial statement analysis of cash flows, NOI, debt service coverage, and capital expenditures.
· Escrow analysis will include working with borrowers to maintain sufficient balances while establishing deposits for future capital needs.
· Analyzing loan agreements to understand loan covenants and remedies.
· Web based input of agency required financial statements.
· Work with counsel in drafting business communication to borrowers.
· Late payment collection procedures.
· Coordinate periodic site inspections of mortgaged property and work with borrowers to correct low scores.
· Evaluate service and care surveys and work with borrowers to correct low scores.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related area
· Prior experience with commercial loans and/or financial statement analysis preferred.
· Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) with emphasis on advanced proficiency in Excel.
