Asset Management Specialist

  

Position Summary:

This is a customer-oriented, process driven position focused on working in a large data center environment.

 

Position Description:

The Asset Management Specialist  will work closely with Enterprise Server Operations Centers (ESOC) staff to capture and track customer assets in a network operating center environment. The ideal candidate will be able to track a myriad of associated details.  The Asset Management Specialist  will be assigned duties in the asset management arena which includes receiving, tracking, etc., of DoS assets which are assigned to the ESOC. Assignment tools and technologies include:
• MS Office Suite
• MS SharePoint
• MS Outlook
• ESOC CEIS (Internal DoS Web Based Tool)
• REMEDY (custom application)
• Windows 2000/XP/2003/2007
• MS Project Web Access

 

Responsibilities:

• Customer satisfaction … ensuring that customers have a good ESOC experience!
• Conducting audits for systems and customer information, including verifying data with customers
• Receiving, tracking, and maintenance of ESOC inventory pieces
• Annual or as assigned asset management audits
• Supporting special projects … like process improvements, special audits, etc.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have experience using MS Windows and MS productivity tools
• Minimum 2-5 years of Asset Management experience
• Must have a Top Secret level security clearance; Interim Top Secret clearance is sufficient to begin work
• Minimum Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of IT Concepts
• Data Base Support experience
