Asset Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Heavy involvement with quarterly budgeting.
- Updating models, report variances and working with accounting department
- Work closely with the Property Managers during property budgeting process
- Work with Argus software
- Assist the leasing team with lease abstracts.
- Research potential tenants, model lease scenarios and write approval memos.
- Conduct market research. Maintain market research databases and update weekly corporate tracking reports.
- Assist the Due Diligence group and analysis of investment opportunities. Create models, research markets and review loans.
- Travel to various regions to meet with managers and brokers. Assist with site tours.
- Ability to model all asset types using Excel
- Model debt scenarios using Excel
- Investor reporting
- Maintain a portfolio of assets and update models and create reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient with Argus DCF or Argus Enterprise
- Advanced Excel skills
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of accounting principles
- Ability to review and abstract lease and loan documents
- Must be able to articulate real estate concepts to others
- Must be able to write research papers, quarterly reports and investment packages
- Must be able to travel 1-2 times per month (mostly local travel)
- Must have 3-5 years experience.
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting required.
