Asset Manager- Property Job in Essex, Southern UK
A well-known high street retailer is looking for an Asset Manager based in East London while undertaking national travel on a 6-12 month contract with the potential to go permanent.
In this strategic property management role, the successul candidate will work alongside the Head of Real Estate with direct involvement in the assessment and management of:
- Rent review processes
- Rating issues
- Lease re-gear strategies
- Portfolio conversion to monthly rents
- Sub tenant lets
- Vacant space income generation
The ideal candidate will be MRICS qualified with substantial experience working on the client side for a multi-site high street retailer and must be able to prove a track record of successful strategic property landlord/tenant negotiations. You will be a strong negotiator and decision maker with a focus on results and be a strong communicator able to build working relationships both internal and external. Due to the travel involved, you must also hold a valid driving licence.
