The Asset Manager Services (AMS) department is an organisationestablished to provide the highest level of service to Asset Managers worldwide.
We are a worldwide organisationproviding support to our Asset Managers through regional sites, including Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. The main objectives are as follows:
- To provide quality service by understanding the needs of the Asset Manager
- To manage risk for State Street, the asset owner, and the Asset Manager by establishing processes and controls consistent with market practice
- To promote and roll-out new technologies that will increase efficiency and reduce cost for all participants in the investment process; and
- To facilitate the coordination of State Street global sites or departments that an Asset Manager may work with on behalf of our mutual clients.
The provision of superior client service is the primary objective of AMS. As the department liaises with many internal and external clients on a local and global level, relationship building skills are essential.
Your role as an Asset Manager Representative will be to provide a first point of contact for Investment Manager Relationships. You will focus on building strong working relationships with high profile domestic and international Investment Managers. Additionally, yuo will be responsible for:
- Research and provide accurate and timely responses to queries raised by Investment Managers
- Maintain effective internal communications with Fund Operations and State Street Support areas
- Daily review and action on Risk Management Reports
- Issue and follow up of claims with Investment Managers, and assist in minimising loss exposure for all parties
- Review and develop individual Investment Manager operating guidelines and service plans
- Provision of market information for Investment Managers
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- At least 12 months Industry knowledge/experience
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Ability to speak Cantonese desirable
Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with your strong client service focus will highly regarded. You will also be able to demonstrate good investigation skills, the ability to work autonomously. strong organizational skills and the ability to take ownership.
