Asset Manager RFP Writer
Our client is seeking a top tier candidate to work in the Asset Manager's Central Marketing Services as an RFP Writer.
The responsibilities will include:
* Work with representatives of PM teams, specifically alternative investments, to develop language to describe/explain, sell, and service specific strategies, as assigned.
* Complete due diligence questionnaires, forms 15-c, RFIs/RFPs, etc. and other ad-hoc requests
* Serve as Marketing's central source of information for these strategies / this information
* Coordinate with dedicated database administrator, maintain relevant language / data in central source and update as necessary
Candidates must have:
**RELEVANT EXPERIENCE at an Investment Management firm; 1-3 years
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Complete due diligence questionnaires, forms 15-c, RFIs/RFPs, etc. and other ad-hoc requests
· Quantitative reasoning ability (i.e., capacity to understand inner
workings of investment strategies, explain them simply, and spot
inconsistencies/errors in language and data used to represent them).
· Proficiency with commercial RFP software (e.g., RFP Machine, PMAPS).
· Familiarity with electronic data services (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Frank
Russell).
· Strong written and verbal communications skills, and comfort engaging all
levels of firm management.
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
· Ability to multi-task under tight time constraints.
· Team player.
· Detail oriented.
