The Role: Asset Services – Transaction Processor
Temporary Duration: 4 Months
Pay Rate: £80 – 100 per day
Hours: Office – Monday - Friday

The Global Tax and Income Group is one of the key product offerings within WSS Asset Servicing. The group is responsible for the announcement capture; tax relief and source; collection and payment of all global income across all security types, together with any subsequent tax reclaim implications.
Team Description - Income Operations
The Income team is responsible for facilitating the announcement capture, collection and payment of all Global Income across all securities types held by the firms clients across 96 markets. The Bournemouth based Income function are specifically responsible for the validation and processing of Income payments.
Key Responsibilities
Reconciliation of incoming and outgoing corporate action instructions.
Review and process complex events.
High volume processing of corporate action events.
Liaison with clients and market counter parties.
Risk Management
Excel and PowerPoint reporting
Managing and escalating queries
Investigating, validating and amending financial data against daily timeframes.
Management escalation of client queries.
Internal and/or external communication to investigate and resolve issues and discrepancies.
Reconciliation break management and resolution.
High volume processing of income events
Identification and communication of process improvements to management
Your Background
Track record of self management and achievement.
Demonstrated experience of risk awareness
Proven experience of relationship management communicating complex issues with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven track record of working in a team structure.
Demonstrated flexibility within the work place.
Proven experience of learning new techniques, processes and systems against deadlines
Technical Skills: Must have intermediate / advanced Microsoft Office skills: Excel, including in cell formula, graphs, Pivot Tables and experience of using Macros - Access, PowerPoint.
