Asset Services Manager recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the asset servicing function and asset servicing team of 3
- Ensure collection of all income items and work to improve the timeliness, accuracy and reporting of income capture.
- Ensure recovery of all taxes on securities where relevant tax treaties apply. Report all tax amounts received and owing. Ensure capture of all tax changes affecting the Organisations global bond and equity portfolios.
- Ensure accurate and timely administration of all corporate actions and devise and implement process automation.
- Management of class action recoveries
- Monitor Custodian performance and compliance with SLA.
- Develop custodian KPIs and common reporting capability
- Oversee administration of custodian and bank account charges.
- Ensure production and compliance with all procedures and ensure all audit issues relating to the asset servicing function are addressed
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
- Educated to degree level
- Experience at a senior level within an Asset Servicing function ideally at an investment management organisation or custodian.
- Solid experience in all asset management functions including Tax, Income, Class Actions etc.
- Solid knowledge of settlement issues and legislative requirements and the ability to liaise with external parties on behalf of the Office.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to gain credibility with senior management and external parties.
- The proven ability and success of testing and overseeing new technology functions within Operations.
- Programme management of automation and STP initiatives valuable.
