Asset Services / Corporate ActionsCorporate Actions (COACS) is one of the key product offerings within WSS Asset Servicing.
The group is responsible for the end to end process for all corporate actions including:
Announcement Capture, Client and Agent Instruction, Production Control, IOS Middle Office, Fund Accounting, Entitlement Completions and Client Enquiries.
Working with hubs in APAC and WHEM, the Bournemouth COACS Department is a dynamic environment, providing a bench mark product to all custody clients.
Team Description:
Corporate Actions DistributionThe Distribution role is responsible for the receipt, validation and distribution of Asset Servicing information relating to the individual teams, Corporate Actions, Global Income Taxation and Proxy Voting.
Within this function, the individual will interact with all Asset Services teams internally and the WSS Settlement team as required. The role supports a critical part of the operation in supporting the service level standards required by the recipients.

Key Responsibilities ;
On a daily basis, manage the secure receipt of all incoming external and internal communications relating to Asset Servicing Nominee companies.Utilise Asset Services and Corporate Action knowledge to understand and identify the required recipient of received communications/documentation to ensure accurate delivery to operational team.Assess and prioritize all time critical information for immediate distribution, including accurate delivery.Complete all daily functions required to deliver all documentation and communications received in an accurate and timely manner.Identify and understand all external delivery methods including key timeframes, requirements and costs to support the Asset Servicing operational teams.Collation and execution of Asset Servicing external deliveries to ensure appropriate delivery methods are used and key deadlines are met.Monitor and Control the receipt of mandated payments for Asset Servicing to ensure accurate and timely Cash distributions to global client base.Actively tracking Stock Exchange Requirements for particular holdings to ensure compliance.Ensure full execution of intraday controls and signoffs are completed along with End of Day attestations supplied to the manager.Manage your individual workload to ensure individual, team and departmental deadlines and objectives are met.Identify and Escalate to management any process and/or procedural changes required as driven by the business functions.On a semi-annual basis work with team Managers to review and, where necessary, seek approval for updates to processes or procedures to minimize risk and improve the operational environment.Investigate opportunities for self-development and improving knowledge of the business that you are servicing in order to improve skills and knowledge and deliver maximum service levels.Take full responsibility for adherence to all departmental best practices, procedures, policies, checkpoints and controls.In the event that a situation arises where you are unsure how to proceed then you should immediately escalate to your manager for support and guidance.Escalation must occur when decision making authority for your role has been reached following departmental procedures, policies, check points and controls for a given situation or scenario.

Qualifications
Your Background:Asset Servicing experience, particularly Corporate Actions would be preferential.
Successful performance in a risk based environment.Results based experience demonstrating strategic and analytical thinking.Track record of working in a changing environment with the experience of learning, documenting and implementing new processes efficiently.Demonstrate experience of multi-tasking and effective time management with attention to detail in a fast paced environment.Experience of effective communication both oral and written to management, clients and colleaguesMust have Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Desirables:Relevant degree education preferred, however, non degree candidates with a proven track record in a similar role will be considered.Financial Services background would be preferred, ideally within a Custody or Investment Bank environment.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPointPrevious experience of team developmentJPMorgan offers an exceptional benefits program and a highly competitive compensation package.JPMorgan is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
